I’d love to see a post about How to Stop Being a Dick, but I know the ones who’d need to read it won’t. Or maybe they will, but their inherent dickishness won’t allow them to comprehend it and make the necessary changes. Alas.
One other thing to bring up when you bring this up to your town council is having this dried up vegetation by the side of the road is a wildfire hazard. People toss still burning cigarettes out of cars all the time (even if it’s supposed to be illegal) and one could easily ignite this dried vegetation.

and now that i know what the cause is, i will take an action because, as you wrote, “the clock is ticking on the time we have left to fix the damage we have wrought on this earth and if anything, I am a woman of action.”
