Oh I Love this piece... although I am a Canadian living in Ottawa I so am feeling hope and relief with the unfolding of events in the last week.
As Canadians we realize that Our future and the future of democracy for the world 🌎 is dependent on a win for Kamala Harris.
We may Not be able to vote in your election, but as a collective consciousness of human rights, fairness and Common sense. WE UNDERSTAND THE ASSIGNMENT.
WE STAND WITH OUR AMERICAN NEIGHBOURS TO THE SOUTH . As the Course in Miracles says.

Thanks for alerting me to this trend. I'm not on Threads.
I understand the assignment! And I'm extremely stoked to implement it.
All our lives depend upon Kamala Harris's success. And you know me - I'm all in with some bawdy laughter. Laughter is a balm to the soul, and our country's soul YEARNS to be healed.
When trump made fun of Kamala's laugh, I told my husband, "You know who else is a giggler? Maria Rodale! She giggles all the time."
Black women got the double whammy...they're discriminated against for being a woman and for being black!
It was great meeting you at Rodale a week & a half ago. Wish we could have caught up to each other again, but I was on a mission to get through the exhibits before close after I got rid of my headache. :-) 😸
He did a great job! I told my husband a couple of interesting facts he rattled off and of course the comparison of an electric car battery vs. an electric plane battery. LOL
I was going to vote for a third party candidate for president. Now I am considering voting for Harris. Especially since spending the last few days in Oregon, with an old friend. A former Vietnam Era activist. He has great insights.
It's difficult because it was very educational political conversations for 3 days, especially for my 18 yr old. Which included history discussions about the 60's and forward. My son learned alot he did not learn from school.
Here is what my friend posted on FB yesterday
I was sort of sad to take down my "Ridin With Biden" yard sign. He did a super job during his eight years as VP and almost 4 years as President. But make no mistake, I think Vice President Harris is ready to run and win the election this November. I support her wholeheartedly and am on the lookout for a new yard sign. One note: I think it's very sexist to call male candidates by their last name but refer to women candidates by their first name. It will be President Harris that takes the oath of office next January.
Yes - I understand the assignment!!! I’ve been having a hard time getting up to support the Dems this time around. I’m getting off the bench and getting into the game. Thanks for the nudge!!! Sorry I missed you at Organic day on the 19th. I learned a ton.

I'm with you too and I'm a 60 year old cat lady too (with more kids in my life than he has). I definitely understand.
I understand the assignment! And thank you!

Ha! I do love to laugh!! It was so great to meet you! And I hope your headache got better. The Vilsack visit was epic for me.
