Love this, Maria. Watching Lindsay Graham defend Trump sums it all up for me. But your words give me perspective.

Actually, never mind. I looked it up. Funny how the headlines were misleading.

I missed the Lindsay Graham thing. Do I want to know what he said?

He's never been "prouder" of orange man who apparently gave a "master class" on how to stand up for America. I was enraged at the whole Oval Office spectacle before, but his actions prompted me to call my senators, congresspeople, and to email/call/troll Graham. An unprincipled, repugnant toady who should be ashamed of himself.

So much I could say, but I'm hatching chicks for the first time and 3 out of 8 eggs have pipped this morning....grow rapidly, run out of air, pierce the barrier, take a deep breath and carry on. It's a nice distraction from the mayhem right now. I'll be starting my sunflower seeds later today...

I dream a world

of love, harmony and beauty.

I dream a world

of peace.

I dream a world

of self-acceptance

and other acceptance,

where all skin colors

are beautiful,

like a rainbow,

where no color is superior

or inferior.

A concept so obvious

as to be ridiculous to ignore.

I dream a world

of sacred respect

inside all structures of worship

and outside, even more.

Sacred earth.

Sacred water.

Sacred air.

Poisoning none.

Restoring all.

Again, a concept so obvious

as to be ridiculous to ignore.

I dream a world

of eyes-wide open people

moving together

toward the One.

So many concurring thoughts on this. I, too, have contemplated the empires that have risen and fallen. I tend to think Constantine’s wholesale conversion may have been the biggest and worst catalyst in history, considering the patriarchal religion rising from it has done incalculable damage. I also believe that maybe we’ve had our time and it’s ok to not be an empire anymore. We certainly seem to have done more harm than good, although I’m so jaded right now I’m probably not being fair.

It’s so interesting. Over the last few weeks in my clients I have noticed a huge rise in anxiety, loud inner critic and self-blaming. I remind them it’s the inner extinction burst, it gets louder just before it dies. Keep going you’re headed for a breakthrough. So within so without. Freedom is on the other side.
